I walked around for hours, looking for small signs of spring (yes Sweden is being very late with that ) and i found this adorable little thing standing out from nowhere. Getting ready to depart to make way for new flowers. Simply it got me.
I dedicate this to Thank you so much for everything Inane
Update 9/8-2010. Sharpend the image a bit, and re-cropped it.
First of all, thanks for the fave that lead me once more to your gallery. You have beautiful works !!!
When I got here, this photo captured my attention among many black and whites. I like black and white, but color is always so charming !
Then I clicked for the full view... and I absolutely loved it. Not only because the perfect focus that shows all the details, the beautiful bokeh and the appealing composition matching in a warm color palette. Also because it delivered me a specific thought, which I wanted to share with you. I am very new at photography, so I am not able to give you any advice (not sure you need it, anyway ).
It made me think of old things and then about old people. I started thinking on how old people are often left aside as waste or useless, when they have so much wisdom, experience and knowledge. If we would only take the time during our daily running to spare some minutes and pay some attention to them, we would understand and value them so much more ! I remembered the many times I talked to my old aunts or uncles, or to my grandmother, listening to their childhood stories and experiences, what they went through, what kind of technology was available in their youth, what developments stunned them, what their activities were... I understood that old means wise.
This work could very well represent the beauty of old age !
I know it has nothing to do with your original idea, but we are all different, and get different impressions on works like this one.
